Welcome to the Trovo Search Blog

 

The Trovo Search Blog aims to provide our point of view and ideas regarding search on the web, on individual websites and within the enterprise.

 

A lot of research is undertaken at Trovo, with search being one of the most heavily-researched areas. While we try our hardest to make sure we capture it all (see the Trovo Organisation Blog for more details about how we do so), sometimes it feels as if it's impossible to keep track of it all.

 

So this blog aims to grab hold of some of the more interesting morsels of search-related information that pass our way. Some of it will be technical, some of it business focused. A small amount will be pure personal (if hopefully well-informed) opinion... This is a blog, after all.

 

The hope is that our company blogs will be useful to us as filtered highlights of our research. But we also hope that visitors to our website will benefit from them too, of course. (See the Trovo Collaboration Blog for an explanation of about how we linked our Live Spaces blogs to our Office Live Small Business Website). A lot of the most useful information we find (certainly the most up-to-date information) comes from blogs, so it's only fair that we put something back into the public domain.

 

Of course, it will be even more useful to us if you could make comments and suggestions. If you'd like us to clarify anything, contribute your own experience to the topics we have added or even take issue with something we've said, please go ahead and do so (politely if possible).
