We plan and manage projects using a cycle of Planning, Doing, Checking and Acting.
For each system we produce, we iterate around the cycle, planning our work, doing what the plan says, checking quality and acting upon the checks to fix problems and exploit opportunities.
Everything we do puts the customer in the centre of the project:
The customer helps us plan.
We do exactly what they need us to do. And no more.
They set the standards against which our work is checked.
We act upon what the checks tell us.

Agile projects are Agile because they can change direction quickly. Planning work in iterative cycles of planning, doing and checking, and integrating automated tests throughout, mean that when we discover an issue or an opportunity, we are in prime position to act upon it.
